The tools and technologies involved in this web site.

Typography

This  site  is  set  in  Baskerville.  John
Baskerville of Birmingham formed his
ideas  of  letter–design  during  his
early career as a writing–master
and engraver of inscriptions.
He retired in middle age,
set up  a  press  of his
own and produced
his first book
in 1757.

Software

This site is built using the Plone Content Management System, and uses a custom theme developed specifically for this site. Additional add-ons used include Image Repository and the Kupu visual editor.

I also use and endorse the following Mac OS X applications:

TextMate
The best code editor for HTML, CSS and Python.
Quicksilver
A Swiss Army knife for your productivity.
Pixen
The only pixel editor that doesn’t suck.
Colloquy
The ultimate IRC and IM client (using Bitlbee for IM support).

For web development, Firebug is invaluable. For the full list of tools I use, see I Use This.
